The characters are interesting, you don't need a lot of dialogue or background to feel connected. The acting is good as well. This film was done as long shot, which keeps the pace moving. However, it makes the transitions awkward, as it is roughly 18 hours of time for the characters condensed into a 2 hour run on scene for the viewer. That awkwardness of characters flowing from one situation to the next too quickly, some war movie cliques, bad physics on the plane crash, and good, but not great combat scenes prevent this from reaching the levels of Dunkirk or Saving Private Ryan, but still very much worth your time.
